Info Edit

To open 2008, Stagedoor featured not one play, but two short one act plays, There's always a U in Useless and Blue Hills Remembered.  The first of the two was Useless, written by Andrew Turner, about an induction course for new employees of SuperSaver Supermarkets.  The course is led by the extremely timid and nervous Carla, under the watchful eye of Jayne, the Outgoing HR manager.  The relationship between Carla and Jayne together with a disparate and desperate mixture of new staff, make for a hilarious one act comedy.
