Fiona joined Stage-Door theatre company in it's very first show as a member of the chrous in Annie Get your Gun.  Since that time Fiona has become a second generation Stage-Door member, her mother Micky Darbyshire also joining the company, as well as her daughter Nicolle Wabe.

Fiona has appeared in a large number of Stage-Door productions, including taking on the lead role in Hello Dolly, and such iconic roles as Ma Larkin in Darling Buds of May and Edith in 'Allo 'Allo. She has also turned her hand to directing, taking on some big musicals such as Half a Sixpence and Bugsy Malone.
